Light and crisp in the mouth and not at all light Sauterns. More pineapple and some hints of apricot, mango and limestone. Finishes hot and dry with hints of grapefruit.

Not a bad buy at $25 for a full 750ml given so many 2005 Sauternes start at $30 for a 375ml. This wine will probably age well and ultimately prove to be a bargain but there are so many better drinks within a few years reach.
