For the first week or so I saw very little change with its lemon oil, pineapple, and a stony minerality, that I was shocked to get in a Sauternes. Lusciously smooth and decadent, but not in the elegant way you typically find in good Sauternes. It was a bit clumsy. Checked back to it last night and it had made a huge improvement. The strange mineral flavors were gone and what was left was soft apricot, honey, pineapple, and an underlying sweet cinnamon. This was more what I would expect. Still pretty basic in comparison to others that I have had, but give time to really get the air into it, it showed quite well.
