Saturday, October 10, 2020 - 1st night was relatively slight but enjoyable. Strong sense of matchsticks. 2nd night was much better. Nose of figs, musk and velvet cushions (they don't have a smell but this makes me think of them). Slightly sweet mouth of rhubarb, nettles and blackberries. Nice chewy texture. Finish still quite tannic of strawberry cheesecake with excellent acid ending on a dry note.
Didn't rate this much on the 1st night but the 2nd night...what a wine. I imagine that this could do with a few more years of cellaring.
