Sunday, March 12, 2023 - Been working on the 2013s in my cellar lately and here is another example of a 2013 Brunello in prime drinking window. This wine is on the lighter side as far as Brunello is concerned, but is very enjoyable nonetheless. Primary red fruits and secondary notes of mushrooms and earth. Tannins have smoothed nicely and this is great with or without decant. If you are sitting on 2013s, I’d say in the majority of cases, no need to wait longer.
