Wednesday, December 15, 2021 - Opened this a few days ago and drank after 3-4 hour decant. It was good but very primary. Fruity. Not as good as most LPV. Saved a small bottle and forgot about it in the fridge for a few days. Delicious now, berry fruit, earthy and mineral, chocolately smooth and long finish. This needs a 24 decant or hold

12/20/2021 3:12:00 AM - Mark I have 1 Kenefick left too. But the last time I had it my review was so different than everyone else. Maybe just not made for my palate? Or maybe it will improve for me? I am scared to try again!

12/20/2021 7:35:00 PM - Jen, Kenefick does seem to have a bit of a different profile to it. I've noticed that with wines from 3-4 different producers and 3-4 different varietals. I've yet to figure out what varietal they excel at most. I don't buy much Kenefick usually, just a couple of bottles here and there to try. I didn't think I was going to have to treat these '16s like a BDX and open 6 hours minimum before dinner, but it seems to be turning out that way?
