Cliched Barossa shiraz; pretty photographic label, raw and ripe fruit, raspberry, etc. a bit crude and rustic overall, low gritty tannins, not much acid, and a warm, blocky finish. Hard to call weight as it’s a patchy style, full-bodied in parts, and yet hollow elsewhere. Has a ripe but high-yield feel to it. Not for cellaring.
