Thursday, December 15, 2022 - Nice red from Carlisle that makes me think “subdued”. Fairly powerful nose of darker fruits leads to an actual flavor of lighter ones: cherry, raspberry, along with some pepper to keep it interesting. Decently medium finish. We have been waiting to drink a Two Acres for several years. Summary after the long wait: Very smooth with lighter tannins and a “softer” taste profile that feels subtle and sophisticated.
