Friday, June 24, 2022 - French white wine from Chablis: Chardonnay. 12,5 % alcohol. Aged for 12 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks and barrels.

Light golden color.

Ripe aromas of brioche, pears, white flowers, lemon and wet stones. Powerful and fresh flavors of ripe yellow apples, green apples, peach and lemon. Minerality in the background.

Dry. Medium- body. Medium acidity. Okay balance. Okay structure. Low complexity.

Medium finish with lemon and crushed grape seeds.

A “not terrible/not great” Chablis without anything extra. Improves with air and works at both fridge and room temperature. Refreshing on its own and okay with food (Matjes Herring Salad). 86/100
