Friday, August 2, 2019 - Very young but oh so good! Started slowly, tight, confined, restrained. Give it some time. It WILL open up and showcase some amazing tannins, deep, rounded and intense flavors of cherry, blackberry, and pepper, and a reasonablely long finish. Nice earthiness to boot! Really excellent wine and value. I’m lucky to have four more of these gems. Fun times ahead! Wait two to three more years (so, I’d say 2022-2023) to crack yours open, if you can!
