Monday, May 7, 2018 - Not the most balanced juice of all time, but a hedonistic, ripe crancherry-focused red with some excellent chocolate-tinged tannic structure. Have now had two bottles, both consumed over (not the same...as far as you know...) two days. One of the few zin-dominant blends in recent memory that almost gets better on Day 2. Honestly, reminds me a little of early Tensley or Turley. Oh wait...I'm an idiot...the winemaker is McPrice Myers...I should have picked up on the style...he knows his s**t...and warrants no comparison as he stands on his own considerable merits. We are drinking this with one of WS annual top 25 wines and it's kicking a**...definite rebuy, despite the label....
