Saturday, March 19, 2022 - Medium deep ruby color. Elegant, sensuous but not lurid nose with dancing notes of fresh black cherry, warm oak, soft pepper and after-the-rain forest floor. Dry, bright acidity, chewy tannins, palate follows through with dark chocolate and plum notes. Medium full body. Very good smooth balance. Medium finish but one can’t help but wish it had more depth and nuance.
