Saturday, June 2, 2018 - Deep dark red with purple tinges really opaque. Ripe purple berries abouund on the nose with some earthiness thrown in. Picking up rich Calistoga fruit up front, not sure what the vineyard blend is but Kenefick Ranch and GIII come to mind here. I’m probably wrong but the flavors remind me of those vineyards. Very rich ripe purple core, teeth staining and chewy. A big mouthful of Cabernet goodness and another solid Napa Blend in 2016.

6/9/2018 10:12:00 AM - I was out in Napa over the Memorial Day weekend, and was able to taste through some of the Myriad/Quivet/Ancillary stable, and thought this 2016 Myriad Cabernet was excellent, though just bottled. I can't wait to try a bottle when it ships in the fall. Might even be be a notch above the 2015 for my tastes! Thanks for your tasting notes of the recent bottlings, much appreciated.
