Thursday, November 8, 2018 - 2018 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium – Kelly, RJ, Justin and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/7/2018-11/11/2018 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): Exquisite nose displaying opulent yellow and white fruit, lemon curd, candied lemon peel, canned pear, a hint of flint, honey, crème brulee, smoke, spearmint and limestone. Perfectly integrated palate, beautifully layered sweet yellow fruit, silky and fluid, lacking acidity yet remains precise due to incredible amount of limestone mineral, and a long seamless finish with honey and spearmint at the end. It remains pure and energetic which is remarkable considering low acidity. Absolute pleasure.
