Tuesday, October 12, 2021 - Under screwcap. I was surprised by the quality here. Light ruby. An unusual, atypical Central Otago pinot. Spicy, herby and earthy with tobacco, orange citrus and red fruit notes. Racy acidity and refined tannins. Well balanced, below mid weight, yet long. Savoury and quite detailed. Drinking well now it may well add greater complexity as it develops over the next 10+ years.
