Shame on you Chateau Ste. Michelle! You should expend some R&D dollars eastward to the South of France, Italy or Spain. It can't be that difficult. For example, visa Chateau Haut Selve in Graves which makes a lovely blent of Merlot and Cabernet, retailing in the US for about $22.00. Quite broad -- smile producing width accompanied by black peppery tannins. Just a hint of oak on the finish. 12% alcohol - can't be this! CSM, at least try!
