Friday, February 3, 2023 - Opened 3 hours earlier and brought in voss. Bouquet of roses, unriped cherries, walnut skin, cherry pith. Palate showed warmth and ripeness but still pretty balanced vintage. Cherry liquer and plums slightly dominant on the palate. Good structure and density with tannins sturdy and stubborn but not grippy. Was not blown away and perhaps still needs a bit more time?
