Monday, February 5, 2018 - Excellent, from a magnum. I took this to Brian's to celebrate his 40th. Crazy collection of wines, most of them much older. This bottle was drinking quite well and was in balance, several people thought wine had many more years left of great drinking. There were 6 bottles of Robert Mondavi reserve, 1987,90,96,97,98, and 01. Each one that I tasted was very enjoyable, but I can't say anyone stood out. I especially liked a BV private reserve from 1978 that was still special.(95pts)
