Monday, June 10, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Exquisite nose displaying perfectly ripe blackberry, black cherry, a hint of strawberry, sweet spices, rose and mineral. Beautiful harmonious palate, very finely layered warm black and red fruit, round and broad yet silky and precise, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, very fine tannins and a long decadent yet pure black fruit driven finish. Incredibly enjoyable in a youthful way but can easily improve for two decades or more.
