Friday, September 25, 2020 - The wine was medium purple at the core and Med garnet at the rim. It was clear, opaque and had no sediment . The viscosity was high and had 14.5 % alcohol.
On the nose there were aromas of dill, blackberry, roasted tomatoes and blackberries.
On the palate I experienced high acidity, tannins and alcohol. I tasted basil, salinity and cherries.
The acidity was much too high to accurately discern many flavours or body however I think given a few more years it has the potential to be great. This wine needs to age in the bottle for at least another 2 years.
