Saturday, July 16, 2022 - One from Tuscany, I do have to admit that this one is not for me,
very full bodied, with red cassis and lots of sweet cherry fruit, the tannin very sweet, somehow firm structure, lacking balance still, for me to much weight of sweet Sangiovese fruit, overripe, lots of oak treatment,
will this ever be a balanced wine?
And as an accompaniment to food?
Overdone in my view,
or maybe changed my preferences completely?

Wine ratings always have a subjective element.
I really do think, everyone is allowed to have a different opinion.
And that was exactly my impression of the taste of this specific bottle, regardless of any point rating or price tag.
However, just writing that this is a good Brunello does not convince me in the aftermath.
