Saturday, August 8, 2020 - Very rich gold color. Nose: sun-warmed hay, ripe juicy pineapple, baked apple, lemon, mint, and just a touch of really pure, mild butter. Palate: great medium-high acid, zesty, quite grippy-phenolic, a little oily-nutty, a little saline, very grippy-dry on the mid-palate. Finishes juicy, savory, and very long with potpourri. Amazing texture, wonderful complement of fruit, lees, and oak. Quite a remarkable wine. 14.1%, $68.
