Tuesday, August 17, 2021 - Consistent with previous note. Blackberry, dark plum, violets, currents, herbs, some tar and earth. Medium+ acid, fine grained tannins. Slightly leaner body. The higher acid adds to the leanness of the body. I really love the leaner, taut quality of it. Likely should have held this longer since it has good structure to age, but this is really good right now (assuming you like more AFWE style wines). I have one more bottle and will hold it for at least another 2-3 years (or more) to see where it goes.
