Thursday, April 1, 2021 - Skews more toward a modern style than I expected. Quite ripe and reminds me a lot of California Central Coast Syrah from a top producer. Smooth medium body, tangy acidity, and a bevy of dark berry fruit backed by smouldering charcoal. The lively fruit persists on the long finish. Delicious, quintessential example of the varietal.
