Skews more toward a modern style than I expected. Quite ripe and reminds me a lot of California Central Coast Syrah from a top producer. Smooth medium body, tangy acidity, and a bevy of dark berry fruit backed by smouldering charcoal. The lively fruit persists on the long finish. Delicious, quintessential example of the varietal.

Candied black cherries, tar, wild roses on the nose. Dense spread of dry fruit on the palate with great aromatic presence, rich lingering tannic finish with a whispering acid echo. Lovely with courgette tomato gratin and grilled ribeye. 50 + 17 + 17 + 9 = 93.

Really great nose of mint, olive, and oak with a roasted game note. Linear palate ends with a Refreshing long finish. Still tasting very young

Light nose, slight note of something mint/clove, decent darker fruit, moderate/medium structure, somewhat restrained and brooding, needs time.

This wine is superb. Well balanced with tannins on the sweet side. hints of cherry and vanilla. Opened for around 1 hour and poured from bottle.
