Amazing nose, almost the Aussie equivalent of the classic cherry-oak nose of a Napa cab, but in a darker more purple, spicey Shiraz style. I've had a lot of Australian Shiraz in my time, and this was one of the most balanced to date. Much more refined than many of the fruit bombs from down there, with none of that over-sweetness that taints so many in my opinion. Great stuff, and well worth the entry fee!
