Wednesday, November 29, 2023 - Nick's Burgundy evening at 64 Goodge Street: Very pale. Crystalline. Very acidic, sharp, with sea shells, marine spray and grit. Really good. There is a very attractive underlying sweetness on the palate that you would never guess from the nose, and this slight change of tack whilst surprising is a neat trick. Liked this a lot, and I think the tingly freshness of this made the Bessin 2014 appear more tired than it maybe was.
