Nick's 64 Goodge Street (Mainly) Burg Dinner (64 Goodge St): Under DIAM (10). Lovely nose - youthful, quite ripe, almost tropical but plenty of salinity and minerality too. Medium bodied, middleweight with a touch of weight, vibrant acids, again that combination of ripe fruit and salty minerals, crisp acids, long finish. Excellent.

Nick's Burgundy evening at 64 Goodge Street: Very pale. Crystalline. Very acidic, sharp, with sea shells, marine spray and grit. Really good. There is a very attractive underlying sweetness on the palate that you would never guess from the nose, and this slight change of tack whilst surprising is a neat trick. Liked this a lot, and I think the tingly freshness of this made the Bessin 2014 appear more tired than it maybe was.

Really enjoyable bottle. Nose is pure Chablis; saline, minerals, lemon/pineapple. Nice medium-bodied mouthfeel with flavors of lemon, pineapple, minerals. Ripe with nice extraction. Nearly sweet on the finish but balanced by fresh acidity and grip. Medium long on the finish. Really good stuff.

Delicious; ripe fruits, a hint of tropical notes initially followed by green apple, lemon peel, sea breeze, floral notes. The palate is intense and excellent, but coiled and young. This needs several more years in the cellar for me.

Undervalued beauty here and always delivers in its youth. Mineral , bright soft flinty and full on energetic . Young and with lots of life but definitely we loved it at this vibrant stage . 93

Pale straw color. Fresh apricot and limestone on the nose. Crisp palate with stone and mineral flavors. Tropical fruit. Also some peach. A nice tartness to it. Overall an excellent Chablis. A great way to celebrate the birth of our first child; cheers!

Soil of Kimmeridgian Marl. South – South/West Facing. Age of vines 15 years. 7000 bottles produced. Powerful and big nose of crushed oyster shells, more stone fruits, rustic old school aromas. The palate is rich, big Iron fist in a velvet glove style of win, rich and succulent stone fruit, mandarin, crushed oyster shells, oil texture, with a rich finish. This certainly can support food better than his other wines, yet I just feel this big wine was missing a certain chiseled aspect, maybe too young?

At lunch Chez Monsieur, Madeline, Paris with SA and FA Light nose but good fruit and an excellent presentation of Chardonnay without being over the top or over-oaked

Expressive from the get go, with ripe orchard fruits up front and chalk and salt down back. It is complex, with some freshly grated ginger and preserved citrus notes. It has excellent purity and depth and that river rock, pristine quality that you get in great year Chablis. Far too young but a joy to drink.

Nick A's 64 Goodge Street Burgundy Dinner (64 Goodge Street, London): Lemon posset and planed lime zest on the nose with a couple of ppm of tutti fruiti ice cream. Lovely refreshing palate, brisk acidity and classic Chablis oyster shell.
