Saturday, March 28, 2020 - I pulled this bottle while doing a cellar inventory. I immediately thought that this was a high end priced CdR from the first sip. As I moved through the bottle, I was more and more impressed at every level of this wine; nose, taste, weight, balance, finish. Checked my Cellartracker to see where I bought it, and was floored to find out it was $14 from Costco. Usually when I buy a one off from Costco, I drink it right away, so I can go buy more if I like it. This one got away from me. I will try other vintages, but my experience tells me that i caught lightning in a bottle.

6/16/2020 6:22:00 PM - Ha - your purchase experience is exactly what i'm doing now. Just picked up the 2017 at Costco. Of course, I will drink tomorrow so if I like it I can go back immediately and buy more at $15. (I did this a while ago with a killer Chianti, and upon my leisurly return to Costoco a couple weeks later they were sold out...)

Hope to have a good experience like you did. cheers
