Monday, November 21, 2022 - Paired with 2001 Ornellaia at a long overdue lunch at Bymark. I has this wine twice before about 6 years and 10 years ago and reflecting on my previous notes this wine is just getting better and better. As much as it opened up on the nose and palate right away, it kept pulling itself together over the two hours. Still very primary, dark red and black fruit, mineral support; focused palate, balanced and long finish. This was my last bottle so I will not know where it goes from here and it may deserve a higher rating yet.
