Thursday, April 6, 2023 - Quick decant. Nose of forest floor, oak, and fresh sorrel. Blackberry and brambleberry fruit followed by a sheen of velvety dry blueberry and a touch of graphite. Finish shows slightly rubbery tannins with a long blackberry pie flavor and a final iron note. Perhaps the tannins could develop further but I'm not seeing a reason not to drink in the next few years.
