Tuesday, February 18, 2020 - Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. 100% Nebbiolo. Pale garnet. Tart red cherry, raspberry, red flowers, medicinal herbs, earth and just a touch of oak spice from 24 mos in very large French and Slavonian oak casks. The palate is dry, with med (+) to high acidity and med (+), rounded tannins. The alcohol is med at 13%. This ia a beautifully balanced Nebbiolo with fresh fruit and elegant structure. It is drinking well now, with several years left in its optimal drinking window.
