  • Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. Pleased to be trying this again after three years. 100% Nebbiolo. Pale amber. Tart red cherry, raspberry, red flowers, medicinal herbs, earth and just a touch of oak spice from 24 mos in very large French and Slavonian oak casks. Dry, with med+ to high acidity, med+, polished tannins and med alcohol (13%.) Med to med+ body, w/ med+ intensity and length. Beautifully balanced, w/ an elegant structure, and remarkably age-worthy.

Tart red cherry, raspberry, red flowers, medicinal herbs, earth and just a touch of oak spice from 24 mos in very large French and Slavonian oak casks. The palate is dry, with med (+) to high acidity and med (+), rounded tannins. The alcohol is med at 13%. This ia a beautifully balanced Nebbiolo with fresh fruit and elegant structure. It is drinking well now, with several years left in its optimal drinking window.
