Friday, April 8, 2022 - "Sebella" is mostly from younger estate vines along w/ some purchased cooler Sonoma sites. Stainless fermented & aged in neutral French oak. This is spectacular! Pale green tinged gold color. Concentrated, intense, energetic waves of citrus & minerality w/ outstanding balance, finesse & elegance. Reminds me a bit of Roulot Bourgogne. 13.7% alc. An under the radar gem from one of CA's most storied old-time producers. Excellent value for the $23 I paid a few yrs back. My last & best of 5 so far. It takes time for these to unwind! This could still use 2-3yrs. A little bracing on release.
