This bottle was as enjoyable as our previous bottle some four months ago. Slo-oxed for 10 minutes, chilled. Light to medium yellow in color. Lemon with a touch of minerality on the nose. Lots of lemon on the medium bodied palate along with some green apple and minerality. The acidity is very crisp making it quite seafood friendly, and there was just a touch of oak and lemon pith on the finish.

Good value line from a hallmark producer. Made with the Same thumbprint of the flagship, tropical fruit, baking, spices, judicious, oak, good balance. Just not as complex or age worthy as it’s big brother.

PnP, chilled. Three years on from our previous bottle (6/3/20) and this wine has definitely improved in the cellar. It reminded us of (but didn't quite duplicate) an aged Cru Chablis. On the palate the wine yielded stone fruit, lemon citrus, green apple, and minerality. It had a medium to plus mouthfeel, showing the neutral oak aging (although no malo), and with well balanced, but juicy, acidity. Should continue to hold for at least a couple more years.

"Sebella" is mostly from younger estate vines along w/ some purchased cooler Sonoma sites. Stainless fermented & aged in neutral French oak. This is spectacular! Pale green tinged gold color. Concentrated, intense, energetic waves of citrus & minerality w/ outstanding balance, finesse & elegance. Reminds me a bit of Roulot Bourgogne. 13.7% alc. An under the radar gem from one of CA's most storied old-time producers. Excellent value for the $23 I paid a few yrs back. My last & best of 5 so far. It takes time for these to unwind! This could still use 2-3yrs. A little bracing on release.

Drank better than a btl from 3 months ago. Noticed the oak and heft a little bit relative to a aged chablis from the previous night but this is still squarely in my wheelhouse. Went well with some grilled chicken.
