Sunday, January 2, 2022 - Was a gift from a friend's cellar a couple of years ago. Based on the TNs here, I figured this would be pretty tired. Much to our pleasure, this was drinking great and neither of us would have guessed this to be 23 years old if tasted blind. Still lots of fruit and some structure. Certainly mature, but this bottle clearly could have lasted a few more years. Was fabulous with home-made beef short rib ragu. Now I kind of wish I had kept it for a more special occasion...
