Saturday, July 23, 2011 - Slight downgrade from a bottle nine months ago, possibly because of the setting (dinner then, wine tasting free-for-all this time). Still pretty voluptuous, and the whopping 17% alcohol still overshadowed by the fruit. It could be my imagination or possibly the contrast with other wines at the tasting, but I detected a bit of raisins in this one that I didn't get from the previous bottle. Nevertheless, it's still a winner.
