Sunday, March 7, 2021 - A very expressive and lush chardonnay. On the nose there are opulent stone fruits (more apricot than peach, to me), some citrus, and a ton of minerals. It is silky smooth and packed with more apricot flavours, a nice acidity and with a decided hint of buttered toast with honey. The finish is kind of a lemony creme brûlée with more minerals and some spice. A bit off-putting at this point but I suspect it will become seamless in another year in the bottle.
