Saturday, March 24, 2018 - Mid gold with flecks of green. Perfectly mature Riesling nose. Lemon, kumquat honey and beeswax on the nose. Well rounded palate with a hint of sweetness but no botrytis. Very good length with lots of mushrooms and forest floor evident.

Still brilliant on day 2. Minerality and tertiary flavours more to the fore but still refreshing yellow fruits.

Will keep going for quite a few more years but absolutely à point today.
