Sunday, August 6, 2023 - Deep inky ruby color, full bodied and medium concentration. Nose of blue fruit, leather, light oak and tobacco. Palate brings on subtle notes of charcoal, plum, violets, cooked blueberry. Medium+ acid, medium+ tannin with well developed fruit and suggesting several years ahead. Nicely balanced though some of the tannin still needs to soften. Really nice and enjoyable mildly complex Petite Syrah.
