Sunday, December 27, 2015 - Was so carried away with the Piemonte wines that I somehow forgot to note this last night. Disgorged September, 2013. Deep yellow color with very little to suggest rose. Not much of a mousse and similarly, not a lot of aroma at first, then a trace of herbs and apple cider. Full bodied, some of that Selosse oxidative quality, good back end minerality. A curious showing-just not as alive and interesting as wines from this producer usually are.
