Sunday, December 19, 2021 - This is a WA 100 pointer. I can easily see it reaching perfection in another 5 years. However, it’s darn good right now on a pop and pour. I will let the bottle rest over the next two hours but on opening the nose is melted butter, apricot, grilled pineapple. Palate is more citrus with lemon meringue and some toasted coconut notes. Love it. Probably too early but nice to sample these wines along the maturity curve. Long glorious window ahead.
