Friday, July 19, 2013 - A relatively more typical napa cab than some of our experiences with Heitz would have left us to anticipate-still probably five or more years left in this one-tannins not quite silky but perhaps an 800 -1000 thread count if we are using a silk sheet analogy-lengthy and complex finish-wish I had more of this one. Still remember visiting napa in 1971 when Joe was working out of a trailer and there were pickups with shotgun racks as the preferred Napa vehicle. Took a case of 67 Martha's home as our first brush with napa and surely wish I still had one or two from that case.
