Monday, February 13, 2023 - Trying the night after 2015 Denis Bachelet Bourgogne. So different - much deeper in color and more red than purple. Much more complicated on the nose - smells like darker fruits, but also adds a peppery note. Smells more jammy, if that makes any sense (I guess I mean concentrated). The wine coats my entire mouth in such a pleasant way - while it’s still a predominantly fruity flavor it’s very concentrated yet smooth. Not a long aftertaste. Tannins not very present here. A pleasant drinking wine.
