Wednesday, October 30, 2013 - Stunning wine. It really needed a day to fully express itself. Still it is not a big, in your face wine. This is all about finesse. Yes, finesse in the Languedoc. Muted and a little unfocused on the 1st night, it showed a really refined nose the next day. Meaty, floral with strawberry, raspberry and blackberry. Round and suave, velvety. This is the South but at the same time it feels weightless on the palate. Definitely made in a Burgundian style. I love it.
