Monday, January 30, 2023 - As noted by others not all that aromatically expressive and better on the palette than on the nose. The palette though was right up my ally - clean & fresh (no oxidative or boytris notes, which can bedevil my enjoyment of Chenin blanc) yet somehow savoury... with real concentration of flavour & a lovely mouthfeel. Popped and poured - there's certainly a touch of stuck match reduction, but nothing I found overpowering - just the right amount to add complexity. In a really nice place...wish I had bought more when I had the chance. 91 is rather arbitrary and may be conservative - it's good shit !
