Friday, January 13, 2023 - Very much like previous bottles, dark purple blue fruit, blue and blackberries, currants, and some tobacco. Solid fruit, but not ‘booming’ or impactful as previous III G vintages. Despite the challenges of this vintage, many of the 2017 Cabs are showing much better than I would have expected. This is a very good wine that more of a 93-94 point wine, but not as good as I would have anticipated.
