Friday, August 18, 2023 - PnP. Strawberry, raspberry, red cherry, loam, some spice. More developed than my last note from 12/2020. This still has tremendous balance. It has that Momtazi richness and robustness, but it also has the elegance of the house style. It has an elegant charm, but once you get passed that, you notice it has pretty firm structure underneath. Well integrated tannins, and medium+ acidity. Don't let its forward charm fool you - I think this has the stuffing to age well for 15-20 years from the vintage and perhaps longer. I think this is just starting to show its real potential.
