Wednesday, May 22, 2013 - I cannot work out whether the 2005 CNDP's are simply fearsome, long lived wines, requiring years yet to show their charms, or will remain uncharacteristically (for S Rhone) hard and uninteresting. This wine seems to be in adolescence. Deep colour and discrete nose of red and dark fruit but nothing complex or evolved. No more than medium-bodied. Firm and quite long. Wait and hope...
