Monday, September 11, 2023 - St. Emilion Grand Cru Classés Walkaround tasting, so just short notes (Amsterdam): This is a 100% Merlot from a clay and limestone soil. In the bouquet creamy red berries. On the palate the same impressions with some herbs and spices and good acidity and tannin.

9/13/2023 3:06:00 PM - This wine is probably at its peak between 2030 and 2036. If I had a case, I would try one in 2026 or 2027 and then decide when to start drinking the remaining bottles.
