70% Merlot and 30% Bouchet(Cabernet Franc). Beautiful and luxurious, smoky bouquet with dark berries and well dosed oak. On the palate dark berries, sweet spices, a touch of pleasant sweetness, good acidity and tannin. Very beautiful wine.

2015 Château La Croizille 92 Points

The 2015 is made of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 70% Merlot and gets 100% new oak. In the bouquet creamy and round red and black berries. On the palate the same impressions, juicy acidity and beautifully round and ripe tannin. Beautiful wine entering its young maturity stage.

The 2020 is made of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and raised for 100% in new oak. In this stage the oak is still dominating the bouquet and the palate. But there are beautifully ripe black and red berries as well, fresh acidity and good, round and sticky tannin. Give this wine some cellaring until 2028 at least. 92 - 93+

the 2019 has 77% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. The result is a juicy and fairly complex wine which is round and slightly sticky with good acidity. A wine to watch and follow. 91+

Beautiful, a bit dusty bouquet which shows the first signs of maturity. On the palate red berries, ripe fruits, good acidity and round slightly sticky tannin. Already in a nice drinking stage and also a future of at least 5+ years.
